When will you be back in stock in costco?
We don’t have sight of the loot at individual stores, so give your local store manager a shout, and they can tell you when we’ll be back!
Do You add sugar to your whips?
We don’t add any refined sugar or syrups to our snacks. The ONLY sugars in our products are naturally occurring, from real fruit and fruit juices.
We always aim to keep our total sugar levels as low as possible & our froot whips contain the same natural sugars as a fresh peach.
We recommend that young bandits eat a varied and balanced diet with a wide range of healthy, tasty foods.
Is froot thief suitable for vegans?
Is froot thief gluten free?
Is froot thief kosher?
Yes! All of our products are certified Pareve by the UOS (the certifying body in South Africa where our products are made). We changed our packaging on our last print run to say “Kosher,” (which was a change approved by the UOS), where we formerly displayed the certifying body logo from South Africa, while we considered the best labeling solution, as most customers weren’t recognizing the South African logo (understandably).
You’ll find us listed on the UOS website with this temporary edit noted here:

With the help of some of our customers, we were able to facilitate a collaboration between the UOS and the OU, so that we can print our packs with the American OU label moving forward!
Throughout these changes, our products all remain continuously kosher certified by the UOS. If you require a copy of our certificate beyond the UOS listing, please feel free to give us a shout and we will send it your way.

How can the froot thief have a long shelf life and still be good for me?
We are committed to making delicious products that are good for kids & their snack raiding parents.
To make sure our snacks are tasty, and have a long shelf life, we use a special baking process that makes sure the product is completely safe while still maintaining as many nutrients as possible.
The SNACK pouches are sealed air-tight in strong packaging which protects the food and keeps it fresh.
What are "Natural Flavors"?
Why is froot thief not organic?
While we think standards like organic are really valuable, sticking only to organic wouldn’t give us the flexibility to be able to buy the quantity, quality and variety of ingredients we need. It also wouldn’t allow us to support small farmers or cover all the sustainability issues that matter to us.
That doesn’t mean we’re fans of pesticides! Our standards rally against the use of any of the ‘dirty dozen’ pesticides listed by the Pesticide Action Network.
To make sure our SNACKS are safe, we carry out independent tests on our ingredients at an accredited laboratory throughout the harvest calendar. Each year our policy is reviewed and testing procedures are updated. quality and safety matter to us.

What age group can enjoy froot thief?
is froot thief packaging recyclable?
Our cardboard display cases are fully recyclable AND we use only FSC certified or recycled board.
The current Froot whips packs COULD be recyclable at specialist sites, but probably not in your home recycling scheme right now. We are working on projects to make our packaging recyclable / compostable.
The biggest challenge we face here is that we don’t put preservatives in the Froot Thief so we rely upon the protection of our packaging to keep the products fresh and delicious.
